Packet Pick-Up

Packet pick up will begin inside the stadium at 7:30am. If you are a running buddy we highly suggest you arrive at the stadium by 8:15am for packet pick-up so you can meet your team and girl runner. 

Frequently Asked Questions

Are there aid stations available?

Water will be available at the start. One Aid stations will be located at approximately the half way point at St. Charles High School. Runners are also encouraged to bring water bottles along on the course. Additional water and snacks will be available at the finish line.

Where are the bathrooms?

We will have full access to the bathroom facilities at the stadium. There will not be port-a-potties on the race course.

Where should I park?

Parking is available in the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs stadium parking lot. Handicap parking will be available in regular stadium spots. The address to Southern Maryland Blue Crabs stadium is 11765 St Linus Dr, Waldorf, MD 20602.

Can I bring my dog or pet?

For safety, all furry friends are not allowed on the course or at the event, so please leave all pets at home on 5K day! All pets will be asked to return to the pet owner's vehicle if spotted at the event.

What is the 5K Course?

Our 5K course winds through the neighborhoods around the stadium. We will have course marshals at every turn and police at our one bigger street crossing to make sure no one gets lost and cars stops.

This event would not be possible without the help of amazing volunteers who believe in our mission and show up to support our girls. Over 100 volunteers are needed to put on our best 5K yet! Whatever your special skills and talents, we have a role for everyone.

OPPORTUNITIES
Registration

Volunteers will help with 5K registration, assisting pre-registered runners and event day runners. Time commitment is 4 to 5 hours. This volunteer opportunity is best suited for individuals over 18 years of age.

Operations

Volunteers will help with logistics and operations. Potential responsibilities include: parking attendants, helping to distribute water to runners, assisting runners at the start line and on the course. Time commitment is 4 to 6 hours. These volunteer opportunities are best suited for adults, older teens and adult groups.
